Happy Holidays All! I am so excited that it is finally starting to feel like fall in Houston (at least sometimes). I am preparing recipes to cook over the holidays for my family as well as continuing to spoil my two wonderful puppies!! Hope you all dog lovers decide to go party like I do at the Boneyard Dog Park & Bar. My pups and I love it :)

So projects for this week are to continue to organize/ design apartment. With the use of pinterest and my own ideas I am slowly making my apartment better and better while keeping a budget (I cut this budget very close, but working on my apartment is my favorite hobby!). I just took a spinning globe from my child hood and painted it (pictures to come). Next up is painting all three of my bookshelves and desk that modern gray color that is so classy and elegant! I found a site that says how to paint furniture wihtout sanding it down. I by no means have a place to put these bookshelves and paint them so it must be done in the living room of my tiny one bedroom apartment! If anyone has any suggestions to make this as easy as possible please do let me know!

Though I am a college student, I will not let lack of money hinder my organizing and home improvements. I know I'm not alone out there on this! Thanks for reading and I promise this blog will have much more to come!
